You can earn Avios and redeem flights with LATAM, but unfortunately you can't earn tier points with them (as far as I know)

Intra-South American flights can be expensive for foreigners, so some redemption flights is probably the way to go! (eg. LIM-CUZ for Machu Picchu, SCL-IPC for Easter Island etc)

A HUGE fan of South America. Spending a lot of time in Argentina. six months in Buenos Aires, Patagonia, Peru, Uruguay, All the time spent in South America we have been to Antarctica, Iguazu Falls, Machu Pichu, hiked all over Patagonia, crossed the Andes from Mendoza to Sanitago, Galapagos. You will miss a lot if you skip this wonderful continent!
