Question Duplicate booking / different PNR

Hello,

I searched to find a similar thread under the sub-forum of Aegean Airlines | Miles+Bonus, but did not find anything.

So, I have 2 tickets for the same flight - different PNR. Would that cause a problem for the passengers? Is that allowed from the airline ? I went quickly through the Conditions & Notices and I couldn't find anything related.

I was searching the forum to find any related information and I found for example that Alaska Airlines has a rule that prohibits duplicate bookings and that they cancel them, and I think UA has a similar policy.

When we arrive at the airport, check-in agent will see two bookings under the same name, and simply ask for which one you would like the boarding pass? Or that will never happen?

You possibly want to ask me, why I simply don't cancel one of the reservations? Yes I can call and cancel one of the two tickets, but for some reasons, I would like to avoid it, if possible. Am I obliged to do so?

Thank you in advance for your insights!
