We are on the 737 MAX8200. I've booked 1B and 1C on the plane where those are the only seats in the first row. Are these a wise choice or not? We are Ryanair virgins.
They are certainly the best for legroom. There is no bulkhead so you will be sat staring eye-to-eye with the forward cabin crew for taxi, takeoff and landing. Depending on the weather you will be exposed to elements, I’ve had many a cold wet start to a LPL-DUB with the cold wind blowing the rain in to the cabin. You may also have people stood in front of you mid flight waiting to use the bathroom.
All that said, I’d normally choose the front row (1A-C) or the emergency exit rows (which have excellent legroom).
