Scotiabank is part of the ATM Alliance, so fees cancelled out if you're part of that (Bank of America, for example)
I'm not connected to BoA. I just pick the cheapest ATM location near me, that accepts my card. But I only withdraw from the ATM once per month. There's some really cheap ATM fees at banks that do not accept my card unfortunately.
