You do have options. The QM2 operated by Cunard is a true ocean liner built to cross the Atlantic at speed and in rough weather rather than a regular 'cruise ship'. But you don't have to sail on her.

There are quite a few cruise ships that offer superior accommodations, dining and service to Cunard which have a more relaxed dress code, so you could always consider one of those.
