Totally agree with most of the points above but wanted to clarify that most of the rooms (all but a handful) at the Langham DO have seperate step in showers. I've personally never experienced that issue with the beds but it's totally unexcusable. So I really think you are due some service recovery from the hotel.
Oh that's good to know. We called the front desk when we saw the bathroom configuration but they said all the rooms are like that. I guess she might have been saying the all the available rooms were like that.
