Without a doubt, I am avoiding the GH, but besides that, I am having trouble deciding between the new HC and the Andaz. The HC has the benefit of being a bit cheaper but is the location good enough for first time visitors?

Thank you in advance.
Stayed at the HC for five nights in July. Didn't like breakfast, but location was good. Used a suite upgrade award to stay in a Premier Suite King room, and appreciated having so much space. Never stayed at the Andaz, but I believe it's much older whereas the HC opened earlier this year, so room condition is likely much better at HC. The location's convenient because it's close to subway line 2 (which includes the Hongqiao train station, Jing'an Temple, People's Square, Nanjing Road, Lujiazui, and Pudong Airport stations). I highly recommend booking HC using cash now, and rebooking as you see cheaper rates closer to your check in date; I've noticed rates at non-high end properties generally go down significantly as time runs out, likely due to the poor domestic economy and lack of foreign tourists.
