It is very unlikely that any of the EBx 777s will get the new cabin. They will be long retired before the program is even halfway complete.
As IntrepidAfrican already mentioned, the only reason this is happening is because of the 777X delays. Even the A350 has been delayed twice now, it was initially expected this month, then delayed to November, and now delayed again to early December.
I assume the remining EBx 77W's will be retired within the next year and ECx will start to disapear as well as more A350's will joint the fleet. What I didn't quite understand is why EK is not starting to upgrade the oldest B77W's that will remain in the fleet for the time being an are part of the upgrade program, assuming that these would also be the first ones to be retired + are in most need of the upgrade both from the seats and IFE.
