But at the bottom of the chart it says: "*An upgrade from Economy to Business Class is only applicable for flights without Premium Economy Class."
I know I've previously done CX upgrade awards from Economy to Business, but it seems this will now be impossible as all flights on that route offer Premium Economy.
Could someone confirm that my reading of this restriction is correct and that I won't? Would I be able to upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy and then again from Premium Economy to Business for the same flight? Even if allowed, that sounds a risky proposition as it relies on awards for two classes being available on the same fight.
Your reading is indeed correct - they never allow us to upgrade on a redemption inventory. Quite a bug relative to UA / AA / BR / CI / SQ etc.
