As SK's exit from Star Alliance draws near, just a PSA to remind everyone (or inform anyone who wasn't aware) that the last day to earn or redeem points on flights operated by SK is August 31, 2024. For retro crediting, note there is a very short deadline of October 30, 2024 - if you're one of those people who likes to leave it until later in the year to decide where to credit your flights, you'll want to keep that one in mind.

It appears Aeroplan redemptions are no longer possible for travel starting on September 1 - I see plenty of SK space the rest of this month, but nothing on the variety of dates/routes that I searched in September/October. So if you're hoping to get one last Aeroplan SK redemption, do it soon. Despite some confusing language on the Aeroplan partners page ("Until August 31, 2024, Members can book reward travel with Scandinavian Airlines and make changes to their flight dates, flight times, origin and destination, routing or cabin class by calling the Aeroplan Contact Centre."), it should still be bookable online.

For those who have Aeroplan tickets previously redeemed for travel on SK after September 1, please note this thread regarding how to deal with reward tickets post-exit.
