I just received the spend companion pass in my account 7/25/2025 expiration and my annual fee just hit 7/31/2024. Going forward, I don't plan to use the card that much so it would be a waste. If I cancel the card to get the annual fee back, does that affect the companion pass I received from 2023-2024 spend? Will it get taken away or I can safely cancel and keep the award I earned
While I'm not too sure about the pass being taken away if the card is cancelled, I do know that the pass stipulates that the ticket must be paid by the card. There are ways to circumvent it with using wallet funds, but personally I have not tried it.
