From what I understand, a "knock-on" effect like this can be fairly used as a get out for paying compensation but only until such time as the plane gets back to its base where replacements/workarounds/rescheduling become more practical.
Your plane seems to be Zagreb based so the question is, was the Palma rotation the one immediately before yours? If so then no compensation. If not then compensation may be due, although you'll likely have to fight for it or get someone to fight for you.
