if you can’t eat that heavy stuff you have the option with AY, BA, IB, A3 to select other options or request a special meal which is not possible with AF in Business Class Europe (no choice and no special meals). It is that or nothing. Even the bread is awful which is surprising for a French airlines. Poor show.
I agree with A3, they usually have great light options, less so with BA (no experience on AY or IB) - the thing is that even the continental option or the special meals still tend to be based on the idea that people want to pack themselves in the morning, just with a different stuff. Breakfast is the only meal of the day when I appreciate the French cuisine
In that sense, when done right, I'll gladly take the AF's only option instead of BA's three options which I all dislike or random special meal that can go either way.
