I’ve noticed that it seems 8K is always blocked (with a limited data set of flights I’ve looked at) on DXB flights and never opens up (the upgrade list only shows a capacity of 29).
Is this a seat that they are saving for crew rest? I know there is a crew rest area upstairs at the back of the 789, does it not have adequate bunks for the crew size/rest requirements on these long haul routes?
8K is blocked for crew rest. The crew rest area is at the front of the plane reached with stairs from the galley area and the bunks are over J middle seats (rows 1-3). I believe there will be 4 crew resting and the crew rest area has space for 3. Not sure if they curtain it off (8K)
