I've dined at both Pujol and Quintonil, twice at Pujol and once at Quintonil, a day before my second time at Pujol. They are both excellent restaurants, but very different in character. Pujol is much larger and the menu there seems to be focused on indigenous ingredients and is somewhat more rustic. For me, the food at Quintonil, while featuring a lot of Mexican flavors, was more reminiscent of a European fine dining experience.
Good to know. That piques my interest in Pujol, then. I'll see if I can snag a res next time I'm down there (likely next Spring).
Would you recommend the dining room or the Omakase taco bar?
