As it happened, on my initial (EWR-GSO) flight two days earlier (same aircraft, 1A not blocked), there was an instructor FA sitting next to me in 7B. (7A is my favorite E17x seat in Y). She was taking notes the whole flight and was very open about what she was doing. She occasionally got up to speak with the FA she was monitoring. In this aircraft, 7B has a better view of F than any of the other F seats.
