I do not envy those who try and do the I-I transfer between T2 and T3... Which is a shame because arriving off an international flight into T2 is a vastly better experience than the overcrowded zoo that is T3.

Pax getting left behind with a 20 minute frequency (and a 15 minute ride) is really unacceptable. I believe the HND MCT is 90 minutes nowadays but even that could cause you issues on the terminal change if you were really unlucky.

But alas anything involving buses at Japanese airports ends up a long, laborious pain in the butt. I am having flashbacks to being left on the tarmac in the snow in Chitose!

Not sure I’d choose KUL as the comparison here. The train broke down due to lack of maintenance and last year passengers stuck on the train after it broke down had to walk on the rails to get off. I’ve also used the recent bus instead and I’m glad they have a separate bus for business class, but I wouldn’t say it’s a luxurious experience.
I really think some int'l flying should go back to NRT... Also KUL has improved a lot with the buses at least. I did it early last year and it was best described as a disaster. It was very civilised and well organised when I went through recently despite there being a lot of people.
