Interestingly, more of my post-Covid I-I ANA transfers have been in HND. My flight back this time won't have to go thru terminal transfer hell: I land in NRT and connect in HND.
Not sure I’d choose KUL as the comparison here. The train broke down due to lack of maintenance and last year passengers stuck on the train after it broke down had to walk on the rails to get off. I’ve also used the recent bus instead and I’m glad they have a separate bus for business class, but I wouldn’t say it’s a luxurious experience.
My terminal transfer experience at KUL was 100x more luxurious than ANA-HND. The bus seats were more comfortable than ANA staggered J. I was lucky to get a seat on the crammed HND bus but couldn't move my arm. I'd rather be in these seats (that I didn't have to wait 20 minutes for). Having said that, I wouldn't mind a longer ride in these seats
