It is absolutely idiotic for a hotel to not just honor benefits on a second room on points since there is literally zero functional difference when you have the ability to just GoH. Although the only time I have ever had a hotel not extend breakfast to my second room in hundreds and hundreds of Hyatt nights is 1 time at the PH Tokyo.
This is listed in the t&c. If you do not agree, try Marriott. Other properties may give the benefit there's nothing wrong w them sticking by the published t&c.
