It happened a few weeks or months ago. Big payment dispute. Plus their vendor of the peppers decided to get into the sauce game. I still associate sriracha with pho, so I was shocked to learn that it’s Thai origin and that it’s much thinner of a sauce compared to the big branded Huy!
The pepper vendor is Underwood and Huy Fong tried to screw them. Underwood prevailed in court and has now entered the Sriracha market to do something with their peppers.
