Another positive experience with USA Transfers (after reading about them here), $85 (USD) return to the Hotel Zone (Westin Lagunamar), albeit if I had to do it again, I would probably be happy to book it only as an Airport pick up (I think it was $45 USD pick up only) and use Uber/Uber black for the drop off as it would probably be 25/30% cheaper.
Did you request or know that Uber would pick up from the hotel zone? They didn't a few years ago. They only picked up from the old town Cancun and take passengers to the airport. So did they change that? Just curious in the event I visit again. I remember having to take the city bus out of the hotel zone over to the Cancun old town bus station and then taking a ADO bus to the airport. No Ubers available every time I tried in the hotel zone, but when I stayed in the old town Cancun I had Uber pick me up from a side street and not directly in front of any of the hotels or the taxis would have a fit.😁
