I'm due to fly IAH-LHR on BA194 in a couple of weeks' time on the 77H. First time in Club Suites for me, travelling solo. No status with BA these days, so hoping to get an A or K seat at T-24 (not willing to pay for advance seat selection). As I understand it service is the '4 corners' so starting in each corner and working inwards.
It's not something we read about here that often folks not getting their choice as many folks will just want to sleep after take off and some will have eaten beforehand. Definitely OLCI as soon as it opens, take the best seat available though but
don't print or download your BP until you really have to, then check on the seating very often if you don't initially get your first or better choice of seats.
By not downloading or printing your BP this allows you to change seats.
