Suffering from jetlag, i had a search in Flyertalk and on the Interweb to satisfy my curiosity about other chains and their lounges. I would like to thank the FT:members in the IHG, Hyatt, Marriot, Hilton, Accor + FT:Luxury hotels fora for posting their experiences and taking time to contribute data points.

Why is this of interest to us ?
I have actually no scientific proof but
- some destinations might feature multiple hotels with lounges of other chains so the quality & quantity might be competitive to compare
- some travellers prefer the lounge as a destination or extension of their travel needs
if a hotel doesn't offer one, it might be interesting to seek out the competition
- sometimes you wish to get €$ег value and want to be prepared or FOMO (fear of missing out)
- you get +10 points with this acquired data at your local pub quiz or trivia travia hour on the cruise ship
- as Ben Schlappig touts reviewing all world's First Class airplane cabin products, one could get inspired for tiktok/instagram influencing to review all world's lounges of the big 5 chains... Guiness Book of Records tip?
- you could barter with your TA/Virtuoso/AMEX FHR/Preferred Partner to autogrant lounge access with their bookinga
