Arriving on LATAM from Calama at 9:25am, departing on AF to Paris at 11:55am. Separate tickets, so I’ll need to retrieve luggage, and then walk over to the international terminal to arrive at Air France check-in no later than 10:45am.
Realistic? How reliable are domestic LATAM flights? How long should I expect to wait for luggage? How long is the walk to the international terminal from the domestic terminal?
thanks.
Based on my recent experience last week, it should be doable if the flight is on time. I returned from Calama to SCL and had a separate ticket to Buenos Aires. I would say the whole transfer process took me a little less than an hour. We landed at SCL at 1040 am, I got my bags at 11 am, it took about 15 mins to walk over to the international terminal using the people movers, and I dropped my bag off for the next flight by 1120 am.
Just follow the signs to T2 International after domestic bag claim and take the escalator or elevator to the 3rd floor after getting to T2. Good luck!
