My friends sailed with them a couple of times and while they praised the high quality ingredients and menus, they also complained about the lack of variety, even on 7-day sailings. They also said Explora does not deviate from their menu items or entertain special requests, which is a deal breaker for us, because we are vegan.

Seabourn, on the other hand, will customize our meals for us with 24-hour notice. They will also procure special vegan products for us at no charge with advanced notice; I typically give them my list a couple of months prior to sailing.
