It's rundown and dirty compared to the rest of KL. Great for food but not much else of interest to tourists. It's not dangerous by any means unless you are wandering say at 4AM. ICC Pudu is hot but as tons of great local food options (and somehow Malaysians still don't know how to dispose their tissue properly).

Yes. Take the MRT Kajang Line (Kajang direction) to
Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) station, walk across the platform and change to Putrajaya line towards Putrajaya.
