I get that, but AAdvantage is a particularly quirky one on these tickets, so people asking how to maximize it and others helping maximize it shouldn't be constantly flagged.

You have a very valid point, but despite our mutually perceived great value on these tickets, it's not everyone's goal to just enjoy the ride for whatever it's worth. A lot of people in this particular forum want OWE from zero on these tickets and it's very possible to achieve if played smart. (Not with AAdvantage though, at least not on a single ticket with no existing AA status. AS, AY, and QR are possible to go Zero to Hero, I think BA too but definitely wouldn't attempt that on an ex-CAI or ex-OSL due to YQ, not sure about IB, seems Platino is quite a stretch from their mid tier)
