Well, how do you feel about €8k/night for their 1br suites? Much roomier at... 42 to 47 mē ?!

I have grudgingly accepted the new 1000-2000 € per night reality, but this is insane.
I feel like I see this all over the place now for peak season dynamic pricing... 5-6k night is the new going nightly rate for something mid-range that is not "just a room" at the hottest properties during peak season. Higher suites are 5 digits.

Maybe it's just the ratios? If the entry level room used to be 750 EUR / 1000 EUR you get 2-3k for something like a junior or small suite. Now that entry level rooms are 2000+ EUR / night, well... the math is brutal. At a lot of these hot small properties (Le Sirenuse, Il San Pietro, Passalacqua, San Domenico Palace) I see 3k+ / night for entry level rooms during peak season. For example, in the first weekend of July at Romazzino where you have that 6k / night Junior Suite, the deluxe rooms are €3,695.00 with a garden view and €4,432.00 with a sea view. Before VAT, of course. Of course two categories up is going to be 6k if when it's nearly 4k for an entry level room...
