No, one night stay in Turkey has only ever resulted in/caused an extra scrutiny question while entering China during TWOV times at CAN (Guangzhou). At all the other Airports in China, (PEK, PKX, PVG, TFU, XMN, TSN) no one gave a damn.
No need for a new Passport at all.
