Stayed 3 nights recently. The hotel is new, looks pretty nice and pleasant. I liked the room and Saint Charles Apothecary products. I felt the service or staff training was on the weaker side and that did hurt the overall impression.

As a Titanium I was upgraded to a room with a nice view, according to the front desk agent. It was on the 2nd floor and didn't really have too much of a view (I guess rooms on higher floors are better) but did have a nice big balcony with a lounger, like on the photos above in the thread. Suites were available in the app but I didn't inquire.

At check-in, in addition to the normal choices for Autograph Collection, breakfast or 750 points, 10 EUR F&B or 1000 points, I was offered to also choose between 750 points or 5 EUR F&B for every night of declined housekeeping. I chose breakfast, 10 EUR voucher and 750 points for the housekeeping. I assumed I will actually need to decide if I need housekeeping or not separately each night (by putting a door sign), but maybe this wasn't the case. On the last day, I did put "clean the room" sign in the morning and came back in the evening to an untouched room with a sign still on the door. In my opinion, even if I had inadvertently pre-declined it, the sign on the door should override that. Now looking at the points I received, I got 1000 extra points, not 2x750 as I expected.

I stayed with my dog, they have two different versions of pet fee schedule on the hotel's own website and yet another one on the Marriott website. I emailed to inquire and got a fourth version. At check-in the agent said the dog wasn't in the reservation while in reality it was, both by checkbox and also mentioned in the text comment. This is more than enough for most hotels. Not having the dog on the reservation didn't cause any issues though, so not sure why they decided to mention it, especially when it's not true.

One evening spouse thought she might have a fever and I called the reception to ask if they could provide a thermometer. To be honest I never really had this need before and don't know if that's a reasonable request, but I certainly remember seeing it offered in some hotel directories, though most likely it was somewhere in Asia. In any case, after politely inquiring the reply I got was a single word "No", literally a single word and silence.

Breakfast buffet was adequate and tasty. The do have an a la carte menu as well but I wasn't impressed with the dishes. One morning we ordered two Egg Benedicts and they brought only one, then realized the mistake and brought another one couple minutes later. First one was ok, but the second one was made with a cold egg just taken out of the fridge. For non-elites the breakfast was quite expensive (35 EUR?) and I would have been quite unhappy if I had to pay for that. They did have the Weißwürste with beer every morning. Restaurant dinner was ok but nothing exceptional, and the rooftop bar is indeed pretty nice.

Spa/pool area is nice but felt crowded at times. Came by car but didn't use the hotel parking as it was 5x as expensive as large public parking lot five minute walk away.
