AA App Malfunctioning

Hi All,
Continuing with challenges with AA website and app. This time I am unable to save/set up 'trip notification'. Called AA web/app support-they could not resolve.

Wondering if you can share your expertise:

1. First, with aa it's not enough to have your trip notifications set in 'my account'. No, one has to profile set them & for each and every trip. On the website account & the app.
2.Web support told me to set the notification detail on the website, which I did. Clicked 'save', that 'save' greyed out (oh oh) but confirmation above said the info was saved.
3. Web support told me this info would sync to the app. Nope. Waited and waited.
4. Then checked back on the aa website/ trip notifications, and my previously entered (and presumably saved) info no longer appeared: all fields were blank.
5. Had tried earlier to set the notification on the app alone, but the drop-down (for country code) did not function.

When I related this all to the web/support agent she said "oh that's weird". Then she hung up. No survey followed.

Am I forced to manually check the website/app minute by minute to discover delays, etc? All advice and your own experience greatly appreciated.
