Where did this magic EUR10 come from?
Well as a followup - I stayed at the Mercure Asoke and paid 8000 points and $13 in cash. I got two nights credit for my two night stay. So at least a data point that over 10E for the entire stay seems to be safe for getting night credit. I was concerned you needed 10E per night. Eventually I'll have to figure out if under 10E works as well.
I didn't get any points for my $13 tho, do those come later or did I screw up by crediting to Flying Blue (I thought it was a double-dip situation)?
