With the latest site updates, the "Main Cabin" column now includes basic economy fares - no longer a separate column. So now, you think the regualr main cabin fare looks good but when you select it, surprise, that lower fare is really the basic economy fare.
Yeah, I'm getting tired of seeing what might be a decent fare only to find significant price difference between what is initially displayed and what I want. I've seen regular Main cabin $200+ higher than BE on some domestic itineraries that I've looked at.
Pretty much ever other carrier makes it easy to sort/view non-BE Y fares, or exclude them altogether from search results so I don't even have to look at them.
