That one in Lourdes had stickers applied for the photo op and was then returned to all white, it's widely believed that one will never fly again. As you say it's not exactly the perfect environment for long term storage and that aircraft also has the sticky situation of that no longer certified ex-Singapore interior that would need ripping out and replacing where as the China Southern example is to all intent and purposes good to go.
