With the latest site updates, the "Main Cabin" column now includes basic economy fares - no longer a separate column. So now, you think the regualr main cabin fare looks good but when you select it, surprise, that lower fare is really the basic economy fare.
Is there any way at all to get around this short of search through Google or Kayak and excluding Basic economy?
It was a pain pain when the basic economy fare (which, personally I never want) was there in a column before but now that it is "hidden" it is far more of a pain to find the real low fare in regular main cabin. If that convulted description makes sense
What I found out is that the website is different for US and EU markets. It might some sort of webdesigners A/B tests or something, but you will definitely get different display of search results, if you are connecting from Europe.
Here is search results when I was looking for tickets from US -

From the CZ-EU you can see the dreadful Basic fare and Main fare separated. So using some sort of VPN could help you with search result.
