It's all very subjective I suppose but the mini cabin is generally better as less passengers and you'll be off quicker than say way back in the rear CS cabin. It's a fairly 'quick' long haul really so I wouldn't overthink this too much.
The question is do you want a window? What's available for you?
I've never been on the A350 but there is a dedicated thread regarding that aircraft which is worth a little read. I'd sit on the K side coming back due less sunlight/glare coming in if you like to look out.

Thanks Peter. I'm guessing wifey will want middle so that's fine with me. I'm more curious about placement within the cabins. I'm guessing we'll get service/food quicker being in the front mini-cabin. Just looking for a quiet ride with good service. As far as getting off the plane first, probably not as big a deal as we have a long layover so plenty of time to kill. If First Class can do it, I guess I can
