It seems to be getting better, I would think by Sunday the fleet will be somewhat normal. It's been trying to transit only as a way to keep the backlog from growing. Issue is, connecting flights are not always running and lots of crew in wrong places so some flights have been cancelled adding to the melting pot. EK should have stopped flights earlier for checkin but it didnt and now its got a meltdown it created. It should have done a global stop, waited for the weather to receed and then count its stock and move things around rather then keep trying to fly and cause most issues. I did note a NOTAM was issued for only EK and FZ being able to land at DXB earlier.
