No. Neither do you get credit for two stays. Consecutive stays are counted as one and have been for decades.
While I do defer to your expertise and experience, are you
SURE that two consecutive nights will not qualify as two stays in the Marriott system? For Hiltons I agree that two consecutive nights are counted as just one stay, but for Marriott I thought that two nights are counted as two nights for purposes of elite qualification.
