I think HP has a battery problem period. I've had two HP laptops (Probook series if it matters) for work. Both had battery problems. And replacing them with third party batteries didn't help either. They would poof up and (if I didn't take any action to relieve the pressure) start to damage the rest of the laptop. I think I still have one of the warped batteries because I didn't want to ship it back to the office (looking for a place to take the batteries... like an ikea)

I have one less used HP laptop which has not had this (knock on wood) but still.
