In Essence you did the righ (and only possible thing) - the details are described in this post (search would have helped -

Edelweiss Business Booking

In short: you can book your seat on Edelweiss directly. you only need your exact name and flight dates and you will receive an e-mail - no PNR necessary and no payment... as J seats are for free normally...
