I have refundable tickets to DFW early monday morning and back that night, with a plan to take DART to a nearby park -- no hotel, no rental car, no highways. However, if the weather forecast holds with showers/clouds, would cancel, but won't make that call until Sunday.

Ironically, have reason to be in upstate NY the next weekend, and their weather may actually be better based on the early forecasts. However, flying overnights and witching that visit to mid-week would be difficult, so that's more of a wishful backup than a real plan.
