That's how I felt when I ran into Jean-Georges Vongerichten in the bathroom at his restaurant in the Trump Hotel. We exchanged cordial greetings. I was giddy afterward.

So I guess celebrity chefs do show up at least once in a while at their restaurant.

Too bad I couldn't say the same about my dinner at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon.
