In related news …. I just read that due to softness in the freight business, FedEx gave up some factory slots for 767-300Fs.
Economics aside … curious whether it’d be even remotely feasible for Boeing to be able to use those slots to build more 767-300ERs at this point?

LarryJ said above, there’s no direct replacement for the 767 mission currently. At the right price, I just wonder if picking up some new build 767s would make sense? The frame just seems to support United’s mission so well right now - especially the premium-heavy variant. With FedEx’s slots opening, and Boeing’s desire to keep the line running a few more years …. Just spitballing ideas to see if there’s a way it makes sense for both parties.
Similar thought IMO to the late 777-300 order United placed (which continues to look more and more brilliant by the minute …)
