What are the current thoughts on taking an anti-malarial like Malarone for traveling to BKK / Phuket / Krabi / Phi Phi, then over to Siem Reap, Cambodia for 3 days to visit Angkor Wat? My primary care physician here in the US prescribed Malarone, and I filled the prescription, but he's not a Tropical Medicine doctor. And when I went to Bali a while back, my Tropical Medicine doctor simply advised to wear tropic weight long pants / long shirts and avoid mosquito exposure, etc.
