So I've always had my gas receipts ready to show the staff when I return the car as I had a huge fuel charge a few years ago that took forever to dispute. Plus renting cars in Europe, you want the agent to check over the car upon return so no surprises with damages, etc.
Returned to Nashville airport this week and there was a long line of cars and no agents. I hate to just leave the keys and walk off without seeing someone. I waited 5 mins and there was no one.
Of course, 24 hours later I get the email receipt with for refueling the mileage I drove. Just makes me think the staff at BNA will just charge you and see if it sticks. We will see if Hertz Customer Service fixes this or not.
