somewhat ironically, the yellow banner was never shown on the trending page, at least on mobile. If, like me, 95% of your browsing the site was through the trending page on mobile you might never have seen it.
Thankfully for the ability of FT to function, few people only engage in FT through posts already trending. FT is at its best when people are sharing information, not adding their hot takes.
