Page as it was is simply not coming back. What I'm working on now is getting a different product operational on FlyerTalk. It looks something like this (please keep in mind that I don't know to what extent this is customizable):
I’m not impressed. I mainly used the Trending page to find out what is going on and probably will only come back to FT to check the premium fare deals forum.
Also I don’t know what all the mention about SEO is, but having worked in the field, any SEO benefit from removing the page will be very minor. The loss of users (and their posts) will have a much greater negative impact on rankings long-term.
