They had cordoned off the Gate and made us line up in single-file while they let us in one-by-one to interrogate us with a bunch of silly questions about if we had any weapons, anyone else's luggage we were carrying, etc.
don't fly into the US much? This is the standard screening questions, they've been doing this at HKG and other intl airports for as long as i can remember whenever I fly back into the US. not sure why you're complaining about CX for this
