Hi All, Just an update and point of reference on pricing for anyone interested on the itin I ended up booking.
All done via the AA RTW desk and every agent super helpful and knowledgeable that I spoke with (4). One lady mentioned she had just been in a meeting where frustration was raised about the number of D fares they could see on partners and yet the system would not let them book as part of DONEx. My example was DOH-PER (EF showing D6 and she could see the seats but not book them) - she mentioned they are seeing more and more of it and it is very frustrating for them as well as customers. All in all the experience booking was excellent and calls answered every time within 5 minutes. I did have a go at the OW tool and the Beta tool and both were impossible to use. The new Beta is worse than the old tool which must have taken some concerted effort.
My fare is ex-TYO, it was done with an eye on urgency as travel mostly in May and a number of necessary destinations. I'm sure I could have maximised more miles etc but I'm happy with it.

I would appreciate thoughts on which partner to credit to. I am AA LifePlat, QF, BA and AS nobody. I don't see likelihood of any program getting me to emerald (and wont have much more paid travel in 2024) so was just going to suck it up and put it to AA since I am low on AA miles and have quite a lot stockpiled in the other 3.
As always thanks for all the wise heads on here and the advice. Nice to be back on the horse!
