I'm visiting Taipei as a tourist in April. I've narrowed down my options to this property ($155) or the Sheraton ($210). How does the location and surrounding area compare between the two? I want to be able to grab meals from the are around the property without having to hop on the train. 15 minute walks are acceptable.
Sheraton itself has food offering in the lounge if you have access to that and would like to take advantage. The morning and evening offerings are decent and are definitely plenty. There is also snack in the afternoon plus drinks all day. But for food outside of hotel, I would choose Aloft ZS as there is a wider variety (price and choice) within closer vicinity of Aloft. The area is more lively as well compared to Sheraton.
